For those who know me in the non-virtual world, yes, I live in that county in Oregon, and went to that college the first couple years, long ago...but talking about it, well, if you could see the number of times I've backspaced this sentence, you'd know that words just aren't working.

Time keeps marching....Today I switched out our companies old website from the Precambrian for a spiffy new one. I wrote the oldie with Front Page on a Windows 98 system and the new with KompoZer on Ubuntu.

I meant to post this a few months ago, time gets away from me. It's the first pages of the first draft of the holiday exchange Highlander story I wrote for Pat for 2010 that eventually became, "After the Fall." No one has read it. I chopped it off because it worked better without -- but it does have a bar scene with Joe so it can't be all bad:-) I'm not posting it elsewhere or archiving it.

Here is my Highlander Holiday Shortcuts story. I wrote it for Pat, which was great fun since I think we have similar tastes in fic.

I'm amazed that I have to explain this, but the slash between Duncan and Methos' names does mean the story was slash content.

Nice day. Started my Highlander story. Makes me grin, typing that...

Dug the last of the potatoes, and brought in the last three purple cabbages. It wasn't the best gardening year, but we persevered and harvested some good veggies. It hasn't frozen at night yet, but I'm ready.

Cooking lamb tonight with one of our Johnny squashes (an orange turban) and chantrelles.

Must wash the small dog before company arrives....
