Autumn is here

Nice day. Started my Highlander story. Makes me grin, typing that...

Dug the last of the potatoes, and brought in the last three purple cabbages. It wasn't the best gardening year, but we persevered and harvested some good veggies. It hasn't frozen at night yet, but I'm ready.

Cooking lamb tonight with one of our Johnny squashes (an orange turban) and chantrelles.

Must wash the small dog before company arrives....

Try a Highlander marathon tomorrow. Anya and I watched "Chivalry" before she went home. (Did you hear she took the teaching job?)

I hadn't heard she got the job! May it come with great good luck and the numbers working in her favor. I'll try the marathon after finishing the jobs Mom has lined up *g*.

I suspect if I just start writing dialog, the plot will make itself pesky.

She starts Thursday. I predict Anya will make a great teacher.

Started with a story outline this time around, since there is a time frame. Not that I necessarily stick with one, but with an outline I feel secure that I won't forget where there hell I was headed.

...I think it's this little bar in eastern Oregon, has oreodont skulls in glass cases and a projectile point knapped by Methos...Joe wrote a song about it...
